Early Documents:

These documents relate to the campaign conducted on behalf of the Highett Grassy Woodland in 2004
They generally reflect some gains that were achieved, including:
-Recognition of the vegetation on the site as a State Government Biosite.
-Commitment by the Federal Government to do some restoration and protect some of the woodland “in the longer term”.
-Rejection of a ‘concept’ of the site being covered with housing.

BUT… the THREAT has returned!
